Malei and Zuke's Minis

This may be conceived as crass advertising and promotion, using a Tazo cupholder, and Zuke's Minis and a rubber green ball we bought at Tisol to try to drive traffic to our site. And, I guess it didn't hurt that we used a Stevie Wonder song, "Isn't She Lovely", as our music over as well.

8000 Drums 2009 - Vancouver

This event was put together in Vancouver by Kat Norris, superevent organizer. features drummers from the Pacific Northwest or Turtle Island and Africa taking part in the global 8000 Drums event on March 21, 2009.

It also features a rare performance from Takaya, a young singer worth following.

Nisgaa New Year

Yet another great event at the Vancouver Aboriginal Friendship Centre. This event, hosted by the Dangeli family features many songs and stories from the Nisgaa People of the Pacific Northwest.



Going to the Friendship Centre on Tuesday and Wednesday nights can be one of the richest experiences one can have if you appreciate indigenous culture.
